Heirloom Chimayo chile can be traced back to the 17th-Century and continues to be an integral historic tradition for generations of growers in the valley. 

Heirloom red chile is fresh stone ground, farmer direct, non-GMO and is a nutritious spicy delight as an add to any dish or as a main entrée. 

Dried produce of northern New Mexico. 

The dried chile powder (molido) is used to make red sauce for traditional or vegetarian enchiladas and tamale dishes, is great as a rub for chicken, steak, seafood and roasted veggies, add to soups, stews, and posole or any dish for a flavorful spice.

The heat level is an 8 on a 1-10 scale.

Store in cool, dry place for up to 6 months.
